2008 Summer Camps

Youth 7-14

Intermediate & Beginners

For boys & girls, ages 7-14

All fencing equipment is provided for beginners

• June 16-20

• June 23-27

• July 7-11

• July 14-18

• August 4-8

• August 11-15

Daily, 9:00am - 1:30pm

Campers will be assigned to different groups according to their fencing level. However they will warm up, stretch, and play sports games together.

Daily sessions will include:

indoor sport games

stretching & coordination exercises

basic fencing techniques & strategies

fencing drills

fencing bouts with electronic scoring equipment

fencing tournament for beginners

fencing movies & lots of fun!!!

What to wear?

T-shirt, shorts, and tennis or volleyball shoes

What to bring?:

lunch (Alliance will provide water and healthy snacks only. A refrigerator and microwave are available for personal use)

small towel

extra T-shirts

(for intermediate & beginner fencers all necessary fencing equipment is provided)

Price:

• Guests: 

$225 per session (5 days) or $55/day

Multiple sessions discount of $25 off 2+ sessions

Individual lessons with the coach are available after the camp hours upon request ($35 per 20-25 minutes lesson, $60 per 40-45 minutes lesson )

• Alliance members:

For club members who paid for monthly classes and lessons $25 discount

$200 per session (5 days) or $45/day

Individual lessons with the coach will be provided after the camp hours according to fencer's personal training program

Individual lessons also are available upon request ($25 per 20-25 minute lesson)

 

Family discount of 25% off second and up in the same family.
