Preparation for 2008 Summer National Championships

Epee & Foil

June 9-13, 2008 (session #1)
June 16 - 20, 2008 (session #2)

Daily, 9:00am - 3:00pm

The first session primarily will be dedicated to repetitive bouting experience to develop stamina and fencing experience. Fencers will have not less than 30 bouts daily.

The second session is your last important step in the preparation program and will cover all aspects of your special training peaking with the 2007 Summer National Championships. We will focus on general and individual fencing strategy and technique, on psychological and mental preparation, and on athletes nutrition.

The session will include:

practice and competitive fencing bouts (at least 3 hours daily)

fencing bouts with different missions and tasks

fencing strategies & technique

intensive foot work & blade work

stretching & coordination exercises

general & special fitness exercises

fencing videos reviews

What to bring:

lunch (Alliance will provide water and healthy snacks only. A refrigerator and microwave are available for personal use)

small towel

extra T-shirts

complete fencing uniform (including under arm protector, snickers and high socks)

2-3 working weapons and body cords

Guests:

$350 per session (5 days) or $85/day - no individual lessons with the coach

Individual Lessons are available after the camp hours upon request ($35 per 20-25 minute lesson, $60 per 40-45 minute lesson)

Family discount of 25% off second and up in the same family.

Accommodation with Alliance's hosting families is possible upon request, and depends on availability.

Members who pay monthly tuition for classes and lessons there is a $25 discount

Individual lessons with the coach will be provided after the camp hours according to fencer's personal Training Program.

Additional individual lessons also available upon request ($25 per 20-25 minute lesson, $50 per 40-45 minute lesson)

Family discount of 25% off second and up in the same family.
