Due to the format of the camp we running it in our Houston location:

2009 Alliance Winter Camp/Woodlands

Youth 7-14

Advanced, Intermediate & Beginners

For boys & girls, ages 7-14

All fencing equipment is provided for beginners

• December 20-24, 2009 (5 days)

Daily, 9:00am - 3:00pm

Campers will be assigned to different groups according to their fencing level. However they will warm up, stretch, and play sports games together.

Daily sessions will include:

indoor sport games

stretching & coordination exercises

basic/advanced fencing techniques & strategies

footwork & fencing drills

fencing bouts with electronic scoring equipment (2-3 hours every day)

fencing tournament for advanced & beginner fencers

video revues

fencing movies & lots of fun!!!

What to wear?

T-shirt, shorts, long  sweat pants, and tennis or volleyball shoes

What to bring?:

lunch (Alliance will provide water and healthy snacks only. A refrigerator and microwave are available for personal use)

small towel

extra T-shirts

complete fencing uniform (including under arm protector, snickers and high socks) with 2-3 working weapons and body cords for advanced fencers*

* for intermediate & beginner fencers all necessary fencing equipment is provided.

Price:

• Guests: 

$325 per session (5 days) or $80/day

Individual lessons with the coach are available after the camp hours upon request ($25 per 20-25 minute lesson)

• Alliance members & New Students:

For club members who paid for monthly classes and lessons $50 discount

$275 per session (5 days) or $70/day

Individual lessons with the coach will be provided after the camp hours according to fencer's personal training program

Individual lessons also are available upon request ($25 per 20-25 minute lesson)

 

Family discount of 20% off second and up in the same family.

Registration:

Enrollment is limited, so please register early. Complete the registration form and bring to the club (or mail it) with a $100 non-refundable deposit or full payment by December 7, 2009 (payment is due in full at the first day of the camp).
