Coaches Notes

This was a great tournament for Alliance Fencing Academy. For many of our fencers, this tournament was their first big national event. Kassidy Lupardus, Winter Bourdier, and Claire Steakley have been training very hard and this was their first national event. Kassidy won one bout and lost three bouts with the score 5-4. Winter lost two bouts with the score 5-4 and two bouts 5-2. Claire won two bouts in her pool.  These girls fought hard and scored many points. They lost their first direct eliminations but we know they will do better next time!

For Darius Zacharakis, this was his first out of state national tournament. His record was 3 and 2 after pools, but he kept his spirits high and fought all the way up to the bronze medal. Special thanks to Coach Sabina for preparing Darius for this tournament. Congratulations to ALL!

Thank you for your dedication and great performance.
Way to go Alliance!
