Joe Wysocki competed for U.S. in Poland
Joseph Wysocki, age 18, of Houston’s Alliance Fencing Academy, traveled to Sosnowiec, Poland as a member of a 24 person team that represented the U.S.A. at the first Junior World Cup of the fencing season.
New coach at Alliance!!!
Alliance fencing Academy is happy to welcome our new saber/epee coach and FIE licensed referee Alex Ivanov who will arrive next week to the USA from Ukraine. Alex coached the National Ukrainian Team and was the personal coach of 2004 Cadet World Championships Silver Medallist Vasil Kalinsky. Alex has a 30 years of coaching experience and he will run our saber program and will assist with epee lessons and referring development.
