Epee/Foil/Saber
For intermediate & advanced fencers, ages 13+
Session 1: June 12-16
Session 2: June 19-23
Daily, 12:00pm - 5:00pm

This session primarily will be dedicated to
repetitive bouting experience to develop stamina and fencing experience.
Fencers will have not less than 30 bouts daily.
Daily sessions will include:
sport
games
special fitness exercises
stretching &
coordination exercises
foot
work & blade work
fencing bouts with
electronic scoring equipment
fencing competition rules review
preparation issues for national tournaments
maintenance of
electrical equipment
video reviews

individual lessons included
Individual lessons will be scheduled by a coach before or
after the camp.

2: June 19-23, 2006
Daily,
12:00pm - 5:00pm
This session is your last important step in the
preparation program and will cover all aspects of your special training
peaking with the 2006 Summer National
Championships. We will focus on general and individual fencing strategy
and technique, on psychological and mental preparation, and on athletes nutrition.
Daily sessions will include:

work & blade work
fencing bouts with
electronic scoring equipment
fencing
strategies & technique
fencing competition rules review
preparation issues for national tournaments
fencing tournament
simulation
video reviews
