Yorick Open 2006April 22-23, 2006, San Marcos, TX
Congratulations to Woong Lim - our newest “A” fencer!!!
Woong Lim won 1st place and Jon Bone placed 17th in the A2 mixed epee event of the Yorick Open in San Marcos, TX on April 22, 2006.
Lim fenced well and was 1st in the pools and ultimately won the event. As a result, he obtained an “A” rating. Lim said, “I earned the rating rather earlier than I thought. I can’t thank enough for support from my fellow junior and adult fencers and, of course, my coach Andrey.” Lim won a traveling trophy and is supposed to return it to the Yorick committee next year. The trophy will proudly be on display at the Alliance club.
