2007 National Women’s Epee Winter

2007 Alliance Winter Camp



This camp is a designated USFA event
for the US National Women’s Epee Team.

Advanced male and female fencers from
Alliance and other clubs are welcome.

Who is coming?

December 26-30, 2007

Daily, 9:00am – 3:00pm

The session will include:

practice and competitive fencing bouts (at
least 3 hours daily)

bouts with different missions and tasks

fencing tournament (2007 Alliance Winter Cup,
December 29)

strategies & technique

intensive foot
work & blade work

& coordination exercises

& special fitness exercises

fencing videos

What to bring:

lunch (Alliance will provide water and healthy
snacks only. A refrigerator and microwave are available for personal

small towel

extra T-shirts

complete fencing uniform (including under arm
protector, knickers and high socks)

2-3 working weapons and body cords

Coaching Stuff:

– 2006 USFA Developmental Coach of the Year

- Coach of 11 USA National Champions and North American Cup winners

- Coach of several World Cup winners and medallists

  • Guests:

$350 per session (5 days) or $85/day – no individual
lessons with the coach
Individual Lessons are available after the camp hours upon request
($35 per 20-25 minute lesson, $60 per 40-45 minute lesson)
Family discount of 25% off second and up in the same family.
Accommodation with Alliance’s hosting families is possible upon
request, and depends on availability.

  • Alliance members:

Members who pay monthly tuition for classes
and lessons there is a $25 discount

per session (5 days) or $85/day

Individual lessons with the coach
will be provided after the camp hours according to fencer’s personal
Training Program.

Additional individual lessons also available upon request
($25 per 20-25 minute lesson, $50 per 40-45 minute lesson)
