Congrats to Coaches Andrey & Benoit/Newly Appointed US National Coaches!

Happy New Year Alliance Members!

We hope everyone has a wonderful and successful 2014!

Alliance’s Head Coach Andrey Geva and Coach Benoit Bouysset have been named the US Senior Epee National Coaches for 2014 – 2016!!!

Starting January 1st, Coach Andrey and Coach Benoit will officially be taking-on the role of preparing the Team USA epee fencers for the 2016 Olympics taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Coach Andrey served already as the Designated Cadet and Junior Men’s Epee Coach at Junior and Cadet World Championships, and will be assuming the role of National Head Coach for Women’s Epee.

Coach Benoit will be returning for his second season as the National Head Coach for Men’s Epee, and he also leads the resident program at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

“All of the national Coaches have tremendous records of success at the highest level of international fencing. We are confident they will lead our talented athletes towards the podium at upcoming World Championships and Olympic Games,” said Director of Sports Performance Kate Reisinger (Colorado Springs, Colo.).
